Christian organizations urge prayer and civic engagement ahead of elections

Religious groups and organizations are calling on Christian believers to engage in the upcoming election process through prayer, voting, and community involvement. Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Utah is encouraging participation via voter registration, legislative advocacy at the Utah State Capitol, and joining local prayer or action chapters.

In addition to civic participation, some religious perspectives warn against the risk of political idolatry. This includes cautions against allowing political passions to supersede religious worship, letting emotional well-being depend entirely on election outcomes, or becoming unable to acknowledge the failures of preferred candidates.
