Christian Pulisic returns to AC Milan in 2-2 draw against Lazio

Christian Pulisic made his first appearance of the season for AC Milan during a Serie A match against Lazio, helping the team secure a 2-2 draw. After trailing by two goals, coach Rúben Amorim introduced Pulisic and new signing Diego Moreira at halftime.

Pulisic provided a key assist with a lobbed pass to Moreira, who scored twice to facilitate the comeback. This appearance marks Pulisic's return to action following an injury sustained during the World Cup in July, which included microfractures to his tibia and fibula.

Prior to this match, Pulisic had struggled to find playing time due to physical conditioning issues following his injury. Coach Amorim had previously noted that the midfielder was not yet ready to sustain the required match rhythms, leading to several appearances on the bench against Torino, Venezia, and Juventus.
