Christian Sirigu dies in fatal Vespa collision in Tortolì

Christian Sirigu, a 41-year-old diver from Villaputzu, died following a violent head-on collision in the industrial area of Tortolì. The accident occurred around 6:30 PM on a Monday near the local water treatment plant.

Sirigu was riding his recently restored Vespa 150 Sprint when he collided with an oncoming Fiat 500. The impact was severe, throwing him onto the asphalt. He was later pronounced dead at the Brotzu hospital.

A former employee of the Arbatax marina management company, Turismar, Sirigu was a well-known figure in the community. Local officials, including the Mayor of Villaputzu, Pierpaolo Piu, expressed deep condolences to his family and friends following the tragedy.
