Christian Skrodzki receives inaugural Manfred-Thierer-Preis

Christian Skrodzki has been named the first recipient of the Manfred-Thierer-Heimat- und Kulturpreis in Leutkirch. The award ceremony was attended by Mayor Hans-Jörg Henle and State Secretary Raimund Haser.

Upon receiving the 2,000 Euro prize, Skrodzki announced his intention to donate the funds to establish a new award specifically for individuals under the age of 30. His goal is to ensure that the recognition of local heritage and culture also provides opportunities for younger generations rather than only honoring established figures.
