Christian Slater and Trine Dyrholm to star in Dogme25 film

American actor Christian Slater and Danish actress Trine Dyrholm will star in ‘Incidents of Intimacy’, directed by Jesper Just. The film is the second production under the Dogme25 project, a new initiative by Zentropa that reboots the original 1995 Dogme Manifesto.

The story follows Linda, an intimacy coordinator who struggles to connect with her own emotions and instead seeks intimacy by stealing objects from others. The plot evolves into a psychological drama involving a triangular relationship that destabilizes her controlled world.

The cast also includes Dree Hemingway, Johannes Lilleøre, Julie Agnete Vang, Laura Drasbæk, and Michael Moritzen. Following the new Dogme rules, the production must adhere to strict constraints, such as using original handwritten scripts, limiting crew size, and prohibiting makeup or digital manipulation of actors. The film is expected to premiere in 2027.
