Christian Watson’s Mr. Skelly book arrives in Croatia

The illustrated book ‘How Lucky Am I’ by American animator and designer Christian Watson has arrived in Croatia following its success as a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller.

The book features ‘Mr. Skelly’, a skeleton character created by Watson in 2023 while living in Tasmania. The character, which has gained a following of over six million people on Instagram, explores themes of life, loss, and finding beauty in everyday moments.

The Croatian edition, translated by Lada Furlan Zaborac, consists of 128 pages of hand-painted illustrations and gentle text. The work is designed to encourage readers to change their perspective and appreciate the present moment.
