Christie’s to auction wardrobe from “The Devil Wears Prada 2” for charity

Christie’s will host “The Devil Wears Prada 2: The Auction” from September 1 to 15. The charity event, initiated by actress Meryl Streep, features 20 lots of iconic clothing, jewelry, and accessories used in the film.

Items include a Dries Van Noten jacket worn by Miranda Priestly, a Tiffany & Co. Elsa Peretti bracelet worn by Emily, and a Gabriela Hearst dress worn by Andy Sachs. The auction also features a scenic outfit from Lady Gaga’s “RUNWAY” music video.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Committee to Protect Journalists and the Council of Fashion Designers of America to support press freedom and the American fashion industry. A selection of pieces will be on public display at Christie’s in New York from September 8 to 13.
