Christie's to auction 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' costumes for journalist and fashion charities

Christie's announced an online auction of costumes and accessories from the film *The Devil Wears Prada 2* that will run from September 1‑15. All proceeds are pledged to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

A free public exhibition of the items will be displayed at Christie’s New York gallery at 20 Rockefeller Plaza from September 8‑13, coinciding with New York Fashion Week. On September 10 the house will host an invitation‑only cocktail and live charity auction. Featured pieces include the stained Niki dress worn by Anne Hathaway’s character, the Dries Van Noten fringe jacket worn by Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly, and other garments worn by Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Simone Ashley and Lady Gaga.
