Christina Borboki performs on The Voice following father's death

Christina Borboki, the 37-year-old daughter of former PAOK footballer Stefanos Borboki, delivered an emotional performance during the Blind Auditions of The Voice. Singing ‘Zitate na sas po’ by Attik, she successfully impressed coaches Paola, Elena Paparizou, and Christos Mastoras, ultimately choosing to join Mastoras's team.

Borboki shared that her father's passing six months ago, following a battle with Alzheimer's, served as the primary motivation for her to pursue her musical dreams. She spoke movingly about her close bond with him, noting that she grew up at the Toumba Stadium and still keeps his authentic PAOK jersey as a cherished memento to feel his presence.

Stefanos Borboki was a notable figure in Greek football, having played for PAOK, Iraklis, and Aris, as well as earning 29 caps for the Greek national team. He passed away in April 2026 at the age of 59.
