Christina Verchere to depart OMV Petrom after nine years

Christina Verchere has announced her departure from the leadership of OMV Petrom. Her current mandate is valid until April 16, 2027.

Verchere, who took the position in the spring of 2018, has overseen a period of transformation for the company, including its role in Romania's energy transition. Notably, she coordinated the Neptun Deep offshore natural gas project, with production expected to begin in the first half of next year.

Emma Delaney, President of the Supervisory Board of OMV Petrom and CEO of the Austrian parent group OMV, expressed gratitude for Verchere's leadership and dedication. The Supervisory Board will communicate its decision regarding the composition of the Management Board following the expiration of the current mandate.
