Christine Berrou describes toxic atmosphere at Télématin

Former Télématin columnist Christine Berrou has shared accounts of what she describes as a “toxic” working environment during her time on the France 2 morning show in the 2021-2022 season.

In a video released on YouTube, Berrou stated her intention was to reveal how the behind-the-scenes atmosphere of “feel good” programs can be ruthless. She described a lack of solidarity among teams and a climate where colleagues lacked empathy during professional failures.

Berrou noted that her departure followed a joke regarding Prince Andrew that was poorly received by co-host Thomas Sotto, an incident she characterized as “extremely humiliating.”
