Christmas celebrations scheduled in Pomerode and Garanhuns

Various municipalities in Brazil are preparing for their annual Christmas festivities. In Pomerode, the celebrations are set to run from November 19 to January 3. The event will feature an expanded program including the integration of the newly inaugurated Linear Park of Pomerode and a scenic wooden bridge into the holiday circuit. Key attractions include a Christmas Market inspired by European traditions, artificial snow at Alles Park, and a musical performance at the City Hall on November 25.

In Garanhuns, the ‘Encantos do Natal’ event begins on the 30th and continues until January 11, 2027. The festivities include the lighting of Christmas lights at the Palácio Celso Galvão, visits from Santa Claus at Parque Euclides Dourado, and regular Christmas parades held on Saturdays and Sundays. The program aims to boost local tourism and the economy through cultural activities, storytelling, and live musical performances.
