Christmas Garden returns to Mainau Island for sixth season

The Christmas Garden event at Mainau Island on Lake Constance is set to begin its sixth season on November 19. Organized by C2Concerts, the light spectacle will run until January 9, 2027.

Mainau Managing Director Björn Graf Bernadotte noted that the event serves as a winter oasis for the Lake Constance region. Previous editions have seen significant attendance, with 100,000 visitors in one past season and 80,000 in the 2024/2025 period.

The event features illuminated paths and the island's castle, complemented by seasonal food and drink offerings. While the garden is held mostly outdoors, there will be no visits permitted on December 24 and 31.
