Christmas season preparations begin in Germany and Austria

Various seasonal preparations for the Christmas period are emerging in Germany and Austria. Online fashion retailer About You has launched what it describes as one of the earliest Christmas television commercials of the year. Featuring entrepreneur and model Lena Gercke, the campaign uses a contrast between summer settings and Christmas decorations to promote personal expression.

In a different approach to the season, author Anna Carolina Steyer has released ‘Das Adventskalender Journal – 24 Tage Besinnlichkeit und Achtsamkeit’. The journal is designed as a mindfulness tool to help individuals navigate the busy Advent period through daily rituals and reflections, aiming to transform routine holiday tasks into moments of calm.
