Christoforos Papakaliatis named ambassador for Thessaloniki Film Festival Market

Christoforos Papakaliatis, the Greek actor, screenwriter, and director, has been appointed as the ambassador for the Market of the 67th Thessaloniki Film Festival. The Market, which is considered the largest in Southeast Europe, will take place from November 6 to 14 in a hybrid format, combining physical venues with online activities.

Papakaliatis will serve as a link between film industry professionals, artists, and the public. His role involves meeting emerging creators to support their professional development and encouraging them through the various stages of film and series production. The Market is supported by the Creative Europe-MEDIA program and aims to provide networking opportunities, co-production possibilities, and access to financial tools for the global film industry, with a particular focus on Southeast Europe and the Mediterranean.
