Christophe Di Pompeo aims to expand Institut français du Congo in Pointe-Noire

Christophe Di Pompeo, the new delegated director of the Institut français du Congo (IFC), has announced plans to expand the institution's reach within Pointe-Noire. During a press meeting, Di Pompeo noted that while the IFC offers a wide range of services—including language courses, certifications, cultural workshops, a media library, and Campus France assistance—its programs remain largely unknown to the general public in the economic capital.

A primary challenge identified is the difficulty of accessing the city center due to transportation obstacles. To address this, Di Pompeo intends to move the institution's activities closer to local neighborhoods to increase visibility and accessibility for the population.
