Christopher Judge discusses God of War success and future

Actor Christopher Judge, the voice of Kratos in recent God of War titles, discussed the long-term success of the franchise during a panel at Fan Expo Boston. Judge attributed the series' longevity to Santa Monica Studio’s respect for its fanbase, noting that the developers listen to and value the community's opinions.

Judge also paid tribute to TC Carson, the original voice of Kratos, stating that the current success of the brand is owed in part to Carson’s foundational work.

Regarding future developments, the series is expected to continue with 'God of War: Laufey' in early 2027, which will feature Faye in the lead role and introduce a faster, more dynamic combat system. Additionally, remakes of the original trilogy and 'God of War: Sons of Sparta' have been announced.
