Christopher Lloyd celebrates 88th birthday with ‘Back to the Future’ tribute

Actor Christopher Lloyd marked his 88th birthday with a social media post referencing his iconic role as Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown in the ‘Back to the Future’ franchise. In a post on X, Lloyd played on a famous line from the 1985 film, stating, ‘Today I turn 88…I’ve seen some serious s–t. The most serious of it all is love.’

His longtime friend and former co-star Michael J. Fox also honored the milestone on Instagram, posting a photo of the two and writing, ‘Great Scott, you’re 88! That’s some serious s–t, love you!’ Lloyd responded to the tribute by noting that the two are ‘timeless.’

Lloyd, known for his roles in ‘Back to the Future’ and ‘Taxi,’ is scheduled to release his memoir, ‘In My Own Time,’ next week.
