Christopher Newport volleyball sweeps Stevenson and Notre Dame

Christopher Newport University women's volleyball completed a doubleheader sweep on Friday in Owings Mills, Maryland, defeating both Stevenson University and Notre Dame (Md.).

In the first match, Stevenson took the opening set 25–18, but Christopher Newport responded with three consecutive set wins of 25–8, 25–20, and 25–13 to secure a 3–1 victory. Avery Hanly recorded a career-high 13 kills during the match.

Christopher Newport followed this performance with a 3–0 sweep against Notre Dame (Md.), winning sets 25–18, 25–21, and 25–12. Madison Rogers contributed a career-high nine kills and five blocks in the second match. With these results, the Captains improved to an 8–4 season record.
