Christopher Nkunku expresses desire to stay at RB Leipzig

Christopher Nkunku has expressed his desire to remain at RB Leipzig on a permanent basis, despite being on loan from AC Milan. The 28-year-old French international stated in an interview with SportBild that he feels comfortable in Leipzig and would like to stay for a long time, though he noted that a final decision depends on an agreement between the two clubs.

Nkunku is currently on a loan spell that runs until June 2027, which includes a €28 million purchase option. He has enjoyed a strong start to the season, recording four goals and two assists in eight appearances, including a recent hat-trick in a 6-0 victory against Frankfurt.

Reflecting on his career, Nkunku highlighted his significant connection to the club, where he previously played between 2019 and 2023. He also expressed his ambition to return to the French national team.
