Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' tickets on sale for July 2026 release

Christopher Nolan is directing an epic adaptation of Homer’s poem titled “The Odyssey,” slated for a global theatrical debut on 16 July 2026. The film, produced by Universal Pictures with a reported $250 million budget, will be shot entirely on IMAX 70 mm film—the first feature to use the format throughout.

The cast includes Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Telemachus, and Anne Hathaway as Penelope, supported by Zendaya as Athena, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong’o, Jon Bernthal and others. The production was filmed across Morocco, Greece, Italy, Scotland and Iceland.

Tickets are now available through regular ticket‑sale channels, and the movie is already being promoted as one of the most anticipated cinematic events of the decade, with a heavy‑metal‑styled teaser and expectations of a high age‑rating classification.
