Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' trailer reveals epic cast and Roblox partnership

Christopher Nolan's forthcoming film "The Odyssey", an ambitious adaptation of Homer's epic poem, has released its final trailer. The preview showcases mythic challenges, intense combat and IMAX‑scaled visuals, climaxing with Odysseus declaring, “Then I defy the gods”.

The movie features a star‑studded cast: Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as his son Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Zendaya as Athena, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Charlize Theron as Calypso, and many other notable performers.

A surprise collaboration with the free‑to‑play platform Roblox was also announced, offering specially themed skins tied to the film that are already available to players. "The Odyssey" is slated to open in cinemas on July 16, 2024, with releases highlighted in Portugal and other markets.
