Christos Dimas to receive honorary award in Elefsina

Filmmaker Christos Dimas will be honored by the city of Elefsina on Saturday, October 24, at Sine Elefsis. The recognition will take place during the closing ceremony of the 6th Pharos Beyond Images Short Film Festival (PBISFF).

The honorary award recognizes Dimas’s long-standing contribution to cinema. This recognition follows a recent retrospective at the 49th Drama Short Film Festival in September, which showcased his early works, including ‘A Sky Full of Stars’, ‘Tender’, ‘Breath’, and ‘American’, highlighting his role in Greek queer cinema.
