Christos Kafezas Re-signs with A.E. Glaou Espirou for Elite League
A.E. Glaou Espirou announced the renewal of its contract with point guard Christos Kafezas, confirming his stay for a third season as the club makes its historic debut in the Elite League. Born on 9 January 2002 in Patras, the 1.90 m guard began his career in the Espirou academy before moving to Promitheas Patras in 2016. He became the first Patras‑born player to appear in a Basket League final against Panathinaikos in 2019 and has also competed in the EuroCup and various youth championships. In the 2023‑24 season of the NL1 he averaged 10.6 points, 3.64 assists and 1.87 rebounds in 23 minutes per game, contributing to the team’s back‑to‑back promotions from NL2 to the Elite League.
