Christos Kapetanos visits Domeniko to discuss rural development
Christos Kapetanos visited the village of Domeniko in Elassona, Larissa, to engage with rural residents regarding the needs of the Greek countryside. During the visit, Kapetanos met with locals and the village president to discuss the challenges facing rural communities.
Kapetanos emphasized that villages require jobs, incentives, and prospects for young people to prevent depopulation and encourage families to remain in their local areas. He noted that Domeniko serves as an example of a village that maintains its vitality through active schools and resident families. This initiative is part of a broader effort to promote sustainable villages, a concept Kapetanos has previously presented to the Prime Minister.
