Christos Kapsalis Philharmonic performs at Lefkada musical meeting

The Christos Kapsalis Philharmonic of the Municipality of the Holy City of Messolonghi participated in the 3rd Street Philharmonic Meeting held in Lefkada on September 12, 2026. Organized by the Philharmonic Society of Lefkada, the event featured musical parades through the city's main streets and concluded with a joint performance by five ensembles at the Lefkada Open Air Theater.

In addition to the Messolonghi ensemble, participants included the Philharmonic Society of Lefkada, the Kapodistrias Philharmonic Union of Corfu, the Sinara Philharmonic of Corfu, and the Kefalonia Philharmonic School. The Messolonghi group, largely composed of young musicians, received significant acclaim for its musical maturity and preparation. The event was attended by local officials, including Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food Thanasis Kavvadas and Lefkada Mayor Dr. Xenophon Vergini.
