Christos Kourfalidis joins Athens Kallithea FC

Greek midfielder Christos Kourfalidis, 23, has signed with Athens Kallithea FC ahead of the new season. The former Greece U21 international made his Serie A debut at 19 and accumulated 74 Serie B appearances with Cagliari, Feralpisalò and Cosenza.

Kourfalidis spent his youth at Cagliari, captaining the Primavera side before moving to senior football in Italy. After a loan spell at Feralpisalò and a season with Cosenza, he returns to Greece to bolster Athens Kallithea’s attacking midfield.

The club announced the transfer via its official channels, welcoming the player who has also featured 14 times for the Greek U21 team, scoring once and providing three assists.
