Chromavis and Argos workers strike in Offanengo over contract disparity
On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, employees of Chromavis and its subsidiary Argos will stage a joint strike at the Offanengo plant in Lombardy, Italy. The action includes a protest outside the Chromavis factory at 10:00.
The dispute centers on the different collective agreements applied to the two workforces: Argos staff are covered by the Multiservizi contract, while Chromavis employees operate under the Chimico‑Farmaceutico agreement. Unions FILCAMS CGIL, NIdil CGIL and others say the disparity creates significant economic and regulatory gaps and amounts to contractual dumping. They demand the opening of a genuine bargaining table to extend the Chimico‑Farmaceutico contract to Argos workers, stating that “no one must be left behind.”
