Vietnam renames central Party Committee for Fatherland Front
Vietnam has implemented several administrative and political updates. The Politburo, represented by Trần Cẩm Tú, issued decisions to rename the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations to the Party Committee of Mass Mobilization, the Fatherland Front, and Central Mass Organizations. This body operates under the direct leadership of the Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat.
In administrative matters, Minister of Home Affairs Nguyễn Tiến Hải stated there is no central policy for the mandatory merger or separation of communes and wards. Instead, local authorities are encouraged to maintain stability and focus on operational capacity, making changes only based on specific local socio-economic and geographic conditions.
Other regional developments include Gia Lai province holding a memorial service for national hero Nguyễn Trung Trực, and local leaders engaging with the Korea-Vietnam Economic and Cultural Association (KOVECA) to promote investment in renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, and tourism. Additionally, the 234th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Brigade has commenced preparations for live-fire training exercises.
