Chuba Hubbard suffers hamstring injury, missing Panthers preseason game

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard has sustained a hamstring injury, according to head coach Dave Canales. Hubbard, who was expected to reclaim his role as the team’s starting running back, is currently considered week-to-week following an MRI.

Hubbard missed Thursday's practice and was seen wearing a sleeve on his right leg. As a result of the injury, third-year running back Jonathon Brooks is expected to take his place for the Panthers' upcoming preseason game against the Buffalo Bills.
