Chubb Life Hong Kong launches new critical illness insurance series

Chubb Life Hong Kong has introduced the Chubb Care Critical Illness Series, a new suite of health insurance plans designed for customers in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The series offers unified premiums across both regions and aims to address high private healthcare costs in Hong Kong.

The product line includes the Chubb Every Care Critical Illness Insurance Plan, which covers 146 illnesses and offers up to 800% protection for healthy customers. It features options such as a standby cash option or ongoing protection for up to five additional claims. Additionally, the plan covers certain self-financed drugs and medical items for cancer, heart attack, and stroke.

A second set of plans, the Chubb Cancer, Cardio and Diabetes Care Critical Illness Insurance Plan, is specifically designed for cancer survivors and individuals with cardiovascular disease or well-controlled diabetes. This set uses simplified underwriting to provide up to 300% protection for up to 128 illnesses. These plans also include provisions for appearance restoration and side effects related to cancer treatment.
