Chubut disappearance of retired couple remains unsolved after one year

One year after the disappearance of Pedro Alberto Kreder and Juana Inés Morales, the case remains unsolved in Chubut, Argentina. The retired couple vanished on October 11 last year while traveling from Comodoro Rivadavia to Camarones in a champagne-colored Toyota Hilux.

The last known signal from their mobile phones was recorded at 9:53 AM in the Caleta Córdova area. Six days later, search teams discovered their vehicle stuck in clay soil at Zanjón de Visser, near Rocas Coloradas. Although the truck was locked and contained the couple's belongings, food, water, and camping equipment, neither the individuals nor their phones were found inside.

Despite extensive search operations involving police, firefighters, tracking dogs, drones, helicopters, and aircraft, their whereabouts remain unknown. Authorities have investigated various hypotheses and offered a significant reward, but the mystery persists twelve months later.
