Chubut government advances social and economic initiatives

The Chubut provincial government is implementing various social and economic initiatives across the region. In collaboration with UNICEF, the Ministry of Human Development conducted a territorial tour through Telsen, Gan Gan, and Gastre to strengthen public policies for children and adolescents. This effort focuses on intersectoral work between provincial and local institutions to promote the rights and protection of minors in the Meseta area.

In Lago Puelo, the local government has signed three agreements with the Chubut Provincial Secretariat of Labor to support local entrepreneurs and vocational training. Under the 'Chubut Emprende' program, funding was allocated to local businesses 'Carpintería Artística Artesano' and 'La Colmena' for equipment and supplies. Additionally, a partnership with the El Cordillerano Cooperative was established to provide specialized training in applied carpentry to enhance local productive capacities.
