Chubut Government and Trelew Electric Cooperative partner on crime prevention

The Chubut provincial government, through its Ministry of Security and Justice, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Trelew Electric Cooperative to strengthen crime prevention measures in the city of Trelew.

Under the agreement, signed by Minister of Security and Justice Héctor Iturrioz and Cooperative President Andrea Patricia Luna, the cooperative will allow the Ministry to use existing structures to install video surveillance devices and other public security technology. These tools will be integrated into the technological infrastructure of the Trelew Monitoring Mirror Module.

The initiative aims to leverage existing infrastructure to progressively expand technological capabilities for crime prevention and provide security forces with enhanced tools. The partnership represents a collaborative effort between the provincial state and a local community institution to improve security conditions across various sectors of the city.
