Chubut government installs new generator at José de San Martín Hospital
The Government of Chubut has invested over 103 million pesos to install a new industrial generator at the José de San Martín Rural Hospital. The acquisition is part of a broader provincial plan to strengthen infrastructure and equipment across various hospitals and Primary Health Care Centers (CAPS).
The new 80 KVA three-phase diesel generator is soundproofed, suitable for outdoor installation, and designed for prolonged industrial-grade operation during emergencies. It also features a specialized system to facilitate starting in low temperatures, addressing the specific climatic needs of the region. This equipment aims to ensure the continuity of essential medical services during power outages.
