Chubut Governor announces 4.8 billion peso housing project in Esquel

Chubut Governor Ignacio Torres announced an investment of approximately 4.8 billion pesos to construct 60 new homes in Esquel. The project, part of the Plan Galina, is specifically intended for essential workers in the health, education, and security sectors.

The provincial government will provide the financing, while the Municipality of Esquel will manage the technical, administrative, and legal execution of the works. The housing units will feature one or two bedrooms and will be built using a rapid construction method in the Valle Chico area.

Governor Torres emphasized that the project includes essential services, noting that improvements have already been made to the gas, water, electricity, and connectivity networks in the area to ensure the new homes are fully functional.
