Chubut launches new essential medicines manual and vademecum
The Government of Chubut has introduced two new strategic health tools: the Provincial Vademecum of Essential Medicines and the Safe Use of Medicines Manual. The presentation took place at the Provincial Legislature during the commemoration of World Patient Safety Day.
Led by Provincial Health Secretary Sergio Wisky, the initiative aims to enhance clinical and management decision-making while improving patient safety and efficiency within the public health system. Wisky noted that the development of these resources was a three-year effort focused on healthcare quality. The tools were developed through the interdisciplinary work of the Provincial Committee for the Evaluation of Health Technologies and the Secretary of Health.
