Chubut launches professional registry for childhood and family specialists

The province of Chubut has formally introduced the Office of Registration and the Provincial Registry of Professionals for Childhood, Adolescence, and Family. This initiative follows Law X No. 85 and related regulatory decrees from the Ministry of Human Development.

The new office, operating under the General Directorate of Childhood, Adolescence, and Family, will be responsible for receiving and verifying documentation, issuing professional credentials, and maintaining an updated provincial registry. Registration will be mandatory for all licensed professionals and technicians working in both the public and private sectors within the province.

Subsecretary of Human Development Christian Aprosoff stated that the registry is a significant step toward organizing and prioritizing professional practice in these fields, aiming to provide greater guarantees when working with children, adolescents, and their families. The regulations also include a disciplinary regime for registered professionals.
