Chubut opens registration for virtual suicide‑prevention training for teachers

The Government of Chubut, through its Ministry of Education, announced that registration is open for a virtual "Encounter on Suicide Prevention in Educational Settings" scheduled for Tuesday, 11 August, from 09:00 to 11:00 hrs on the Webex platform.

The two‑hour training is aimed at teachers and school leadership teams at all levels of the provincial education system. It is a joint effort by the Coordination of the Orientation and Support Teams of the provincial Ministry of Education and the Prevention and Care Area of the National Education Secretariat. Participants will receive tools to identify and address suicidal ideation, attempts, and self‑harm, and to promote protective, rights‑based school environments.
