Chubut Extends Entrepreneurship Contest Deadline, Opens Call for VII Ibero-American Researchers Night

The Government of Chubut announced that the registration deadline for the national entrepreneurship competition “Emprendimiento Argentino 2026” has been extended to 18 August 2026. The contest, coordinated by the Ministry of Production, will evaluate projects on innovation, commercial viability, team experience, scalability, job creation and environmental sustainability, and includes separate categories for traditional and technological ventures.

The province also launched a call for participation in the VII edition of the Ibero‑American Night of Researchers (NII), to be held on 25‑26 September 2026. Organized by the Organization of Ibero‑American States (OEI), the event aims to bring science and innovation to the public, with a focus on artificial intelligence and quantum computing. Researchers must submit a short video of their work, and the registration deadline for institutions and individual scientists is 10 August 2026.
