Chubut Province strengthens nursing services in its main hospitals

The provincial health authorities held a working meeting in Rawson to reinforce nursing services at Chubut's main hospitals. The session was chaired by provincial health secretary Sergio Wisky and sub‑secretary of hospitals Romina Galarza and organized by the Provincial Directorate of Nursing. Hospital leaders from Puerto Madryn, Trelew, Esquel and Comodoro Rivadavia presented progress reports and identified needs, while central technical units presented initiatives on patient safety, human‑resource planning, digital health tools and integrated health records.

Participants agreed to improve joint planning, hold regular follow‑up meetings, update the provincial nursing staff database monthly and expand training and support for nursing managers. A workshop on self‑care, emotional intelligence and leadership was also provided by the Provincial Mental‑Health division to help staff manage stress and communication challenges.
