Chubut schools receive renewable energy educational kits
Ten schools in the Chubut province of Argentina are incorporating new didactic materials to teach renewable energy. The initiative, organized by the Chubut Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Siemens Foundation and Aluar, included a training session for 25 teachers at School No. 787 in Trelew.
Participating institutions include schools in Puerto Madryn, Rawson, and Trelew. Each school received educational kits designed to provide students with practical experience regarding the functioning of renewable technologies and their role in sustainability and the energy transition.
The project is part of the “Energía Joven” (Young Energy) program for 2024–2027. This program aims to strengthen youth leadership in the energy transition through teacher training, the distribution of educational resources, and the integration of hybrid renewable energy systems in technical schools.
