Chuck D and Darryl “Cornbread” McCray to headline Hip-Hop Cultural Summit

The 4th Annual Hip-Hop Cultural Summit will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington. The free, all-ages event features Public Enemy co-founder Chuck D and Philadelphia graffiti pioneer Darryl “Cornbread” McCray as headliners.

The summit aims to explore the intersection of hip-hop, art, and activism through various activities, including live DJ sets, dance performances, an MC battle, and panel discussions. McCray will participate in an “Art As Activism” discussion and book signing, coinciding with the museum’s “Walls of Resistance: Art as Activism” exhibition.

The event, organized in collaboration with AllHipHop co-founder Dr. “Grouchy” Greg Watkins, seeks to celebrate hip-hop’s cultural roots and its capacity for social change. The day will conclude with a fireside chat between Chuck D and AllHipHop co-founder Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur.
