Chung-Ang University to host internal medicine seminar for practitioners
Chung-Ang University College of Medicine will host its 25th training seminar for private practitioners on September 13 at the Songbong Hall of Chung-Ang University Hospital. The program is designed to share the latest medical knowledge and diagnostic and treatment strategies for various internal medicine diseases encountered in clinical settings.
The seminar includes sessions on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, gastrointestinal, infectious, and respiratory diseases. It also features special lectures on medical imaging AI technology, specifically focusing on chest X-ray interpretation, and the use of continuous glucose monitors (CGM) for pre-diabetes. Other topics include kidney health, blood test interpretation, and immunosenescence.
Professor Shin Jong-wook, head of the Department of Internal Medicine at Chung-Ang University College of Medicine, stated that the program aims to provide practical approaches to common clinical issues while introducing modern trends such as artificial intelligence and digital healthcare.
