Chung Hwa Architecture Gstone Award promotes sustainable construction

The 34th Chung Hwa Architecture Gstone Award ceremony was held on September 3, focusing on the theme ‘Low-Carbon Architecture, Sustainable Environment.’ The event highlighted the industry's transition toward net-zero goals, smart technology, and urban resilience.

During the event, the Gstone Award Industry Development Committee was officially established to transform the award from a recognition platform into a long-term hub for industry exchange and resource connection. The committee is led by inaugural chairman Chang Chen-yang and supported by six founding companies representing various sectors, including construction materials, development, and structural reinforcement.

In collaboration with the Taiwan Smart Building Association, the Gstone Award also participated in the ‘2026 Build for NextGen’ international exhibition at the Taipei World Trade Center. This partnership aims to integrate architectural quality with smart technology and low-carbon materials, fostering cross-sector cooperation between designers, contractors, and material suppliers.
