Chungbuk Semiconductor High School sees fivefold rise in admissions interest

Chungbuk Semiconductor High School has seen a significant surge in interest, with approximately 1,800 participants attending its admissions information sessions this year—a fivefold increase compared to the 370 participants last year.

This rising interest is attributed to the expansion of the artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor industries. The school has gained national attention for its curriculum and employment outcomes, including coverage by the New York Times regarding its training environments. The institution maintains partnerships with approximately 120 semiconductor companies, including Samsung Electronics and SK hynix, and reports an annual employment rate exceeding 95%.

The school will begin accepting applications for 96 new students for the 2027 academic year from October 19 to October 22, recruiting on a national scale.
