Chungcheongnam-do promotes autumn travel in September issue

Chungcheongnam-do province has released the September issue of ‘Monthly Chungnam,’ highlighting various autumn travel destinations, cultural festivals, and seasonal foods across the region.

In the Cheonan and Asan areas, visitors can explore the Taejosan Park forest trails, the Independence Hall of Korea, and the Ginkgo Tree Road at Gokgyocheon. Notable upcoming events include the 2026 Cheonan K-Culture Expo at the Independence Hall from September 2 to 6, and various festivals at Sinjeongho Garden, such as the Starlight Festival and the Dalgrak Festival.

The Gongju and Buyeo regions focus on the historical legacy of the Baekje Kingdom. Recommended activities include visiting the National Gongju Museum, walking through the Muryeong Royal Tombs, and exploring the Sabi Craft Village in Buyeo. Special events include the Gongju National Heritage Night and the 123 Sabi Craft Festa, offering a blend of historical sites, media art, and traditional night markets.
