Chungho Group appoints former Lotte Rental CEO Choi Jin-hwan as new head
Following the acquisition of Chungho Group by the global investment firm Carlyle last month, the group has announced a major management restructuring. Crystal Holdings Korea, the group's holding company, has appointed former Lotte Rental CEO Choi Jin-hwan as its CEO and the overall representative of Chungho Group.
Choi will oversee the group's overall strategy and operations to enhance corporate value. He will also serve as a senior advisor for Carlyle Asia. The restructuring includes several key appointments across subsidiaries: Jung Chang-guk, formerly the CFO of ADT Caps and Ecobit, has been named CEO of Chungho Nice, Microfilter, and MCM, while also serving as the group's overall CFO. Jung Se-hyeong, the former CSO of ADT Caps and Ecobit, has been appointed CEO of Nice Engineering and will serve as the group's overall CSO.
Notably, Choi and the newly appointed executives Jung and Jung previously worked together at ADT Caps, a company formerly under Carlyle investment. This alignment of experienced leadership is expected to accelerate business reorganization and value enhancement for Chungho Group's portfolio, which includes environmental home appliance rental provider Chungho Nice.
