Chungkang College launches AI program to turn web novels into film trailers

Chungkang College of Cultural Industries has launched a 12-week educational program titled ‘AI Content Production Based on Creative Stories.’ The initiative allows text-based creators, such as web novel and scenario writers, to transform their original intellectual property (IP) into short film trailers using seven different AI tools.

Twelve selected students are participating in the program, which utilizes industry-standard tools including Midjourney, Higgsfield, and Suno to manage the pipeline from prompt design and image generation to sound and editing. Rather than producing full-length films, the focus is on creating high-quality trailers that demonstrate the visual potential of the original stories to content industry professionals.

The completed trailers will be unveiled at the 2nd CK Story IP Market on November 27. This program is part of a larger initiative supported by the Ministry of Education’s ‘2026 AID Transition Focused Junior College Support Project’ and is designed to help text-based creators expand their reach into the video IP sector.
