Chungkang College showcases AI creation and education at TECHTAINMENT 2026

Chungkang College of Cultural Industries shared its achievements and future vision for AI-based creation and education at the ‘AIDOL101 X IDAC TECHTAINMENT 2026 SEOUL’ forum and awards held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

The Chungkang International AI Film Festival (CKAIFF) was selected as one of the ‘Featured Projects 5’, recognized for its originality, techtainment value, sustainability, and scalability. Additionally, Professor Dong-hu Lee, head of the AI Innovation Center, won the TOP 1 award in the AI VISUAL category for his media art piece, ‘The Connected, Disconnected Society’. The work explores themes of social disconnection and algorithmic bias in a hyper-connected era.

During the ‘AI IN K-CULTURE’ forum, experts discussed the impact of AI on intellectual property, creator identity, and the global content market. The university plans to host its second annual film festival in 2027.
